Our Unique Approach to International Missions

In a departure from the traditional 'Colonial' model of missions, which primarily involved sending missionaries abroad to evangelize, Gateway City Church adopts an Apostolic approach to fulfilling the Great Commission. This strategy focuses on identifying and empowering national believers who are called to lead, evangelize, and disciple in their own nations. Our goal is to support and strengthen these local Apostolic leaders, including both established and emerging figures, to enhance the fruitfulness of their ministries and honor their roles within the Body of Christ. Through this approach, we aim to multiply the impact of our efforts and celebrate the leadership of local believers.

Supporting Ministries of Compassion

In addition to fostering Apostolic leadership, Gateway City Church is dedicated to supporting various compassion-driven ministries around the globe. Currently, our contributions amount to $4,450 monthly ($53,400 yearly), alongside an additional $12,500 allocated in 2023 for special projects. These efforts span across multiple countries, including Romania, Mexico, Thailand, India, Nigeria, Liberia, and Uganda, reflecting our commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.
