We believe that kids ministry is a foundation to help children develop a personal relationship with God with an identity rooted in Jesus. Our goal is to provide a safe and engaging environment where your children can learn to love God and others.
Your kids are cared for with the utmost priority put on their safety. Our trained staff are kind, compassionate, fun, and have been background checked and cleared. In fact, most of our children's ministry volunteers are parents themselves!
GATEWAY KIDS ROOMS
NURSERY
INFANT - 2 YEARS
In the nursery, children will experience music time and structured playtime that promotes
development and fine motor skills.
PRE K
3 YEARS - 5 YEARS
Our 3-5yr old’s will start class with worship and then learn to engage with the word of God through Bible lessons. Age-appropriate crafts and fun activities will also help make learning exciting as they set their foundation in Christ. At this time snacks will be handed out at pick-up.

KINDERGARTEN - 4TH GRADE
Our Kid City children are being equipped to move forward in a personal relationship with God. Through interactive worship and preaching, kids are able to grow in their knowledge of God and learn how to live it out in their daily lives. After the message children talk through the lesson, prayer, and have creative time.
Children in Kid City also join in with communion on the 1st Sunday of the month.

FAMILY LOUNGE
Our Family Lounge provides a comfortable space where parents can watch and engage with the service while caring for their children. The lounge is equipped with a small play structure, toys, and coloring activities to help keep your children occupied during service.
The new Family Lounge is located by the stairway leading up to the loft and is now conveniently located next to a family restroom.
FIRST TIME INFORMATION
Sunday Program
Our Sunday program was designed with the following pillars: a strong Bible-focused curriculum, bold worship, and safety for the kids and leaders. We make sure that these components are working together to bring a fun and unforgettable experience for each of our Gateway Kids to propel them into a life following God’s word.
Personal items
At this time we ask that you refrain from dropping off personal items such as water bottles or
toys as they are easily shared and can spread germs.
Please make sure all wearable personal items (such as jackets, etc) have your child’s name on them.
Sanitation and Activities
Craft, game, and activity areas within all Gateway Kids spaces are low touch for all children in attendance. Some of the extra measures we’ve put into place are:
Materials for crafts and activities are individually packaged and handed out directly to each child.
Items are deposited into a “dirty bin” and disinfected before and after service.
Hand sanitizers are found in each Gateway Kids room and will be used regularly by staff and children.
A wipe down of all items and tables is scheduled to occur before, during, and after service.
PARENT CO-OP
Here at Gateway Kids, we want every child to have a great place to grow in faith and have fun while parents enjoy services knowing classrooms are fully staffed. But to do this, we need everyone’s help!
Once Gateway becomes your home church, we ask that parents make a light commitment to join the rotation and volunteer in your child’s class. Many hands make light work for everyone, and this gives parents the chance to be involved in their child’s experience.
