The Holy Spirit takes hold of us in our human frailty to empower us in our weakness. For example, at times we don’t even know how to pray, or know the best things to ask for. But the Holy Spirit rises up within us to super-intercede on our behalf, pleading with God with emotional sighs too deep for words. Romans 8:26
Are you experiencing an overwhelming problem in life, unsure what to do? Maybe you're struggling with a family member or a coworker – we've all been there. Many times, we don’t have the answers to life’s difficult problems, but God does. Keep reading, I've got good news for you! As a believer, you have the Holy Spirit living within you to guide you. He will strengthen you for all the challenging circumstances that come with your job, career, and family.
Most of us begin our relationship with Jesus because we’re in trouble and need help. When I gave my heart to Jesus, I was a lonely, confused teenager who desperately needed help. As a new Christian I learned that the Holy Spirit was sent by Jesus to teach me everything I need to know and to help when I'm in need.
But when the father sends the advocate as my representative – that is the Holy Spirit, he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I've told you. John 14:26
The Holy Spirit will give you strength in your weakest moment. Once you understand who He is, you can be confident that you will overflow with joy and peace, because you trust in him. (See Romans 15:13 NLT)
The Apostle Paul describes a terrible time in his life when he was being tormented. He pleaded with God to deliver him from this thorny situation. God answered him and said, “my grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” (See 2 Corinthians 12:9 NLT.) In other words, God will supply you with His joy, His favor and blessings to get you through every painful situation. Paul realized when He was at the end of his own strength—God's power supernaturally enabled him to be strong and rise to the occasion.
Remember: Every time you feel weak—draw near to God and He will fill you with His supernatural strength. He will carry you through your deepest, darkest moments. The Holy Spirit will rise within you, and Jesus will intercede to the Father on your behalf.
As you pray today and meditate on these scriptures you can be sure:
The Holy Spirit is interceding for you.
His grace is all you need, and His power works best in your weakness.
